Maiyet — Runway

Maiyet has always taken an international stance on it's runway shows. Since 2011 the brand has opted to show in Paris to escape the scrum of New York Fashion Week. While Paris was thrilling, the brand's creative director felt it was time to bring the Maiyet girl home. 

The show was held in one of the few remaining raw spaces in the Meatpacking District. We worked within the existing architecture to create an intervention that supported the mood of the collection and tied together the rawness of the environment with something familiar and natural. 

Everything from the show invitations, to lighting, to scenic to audio direction was considered and executed with a precise clarity. Post show, PSA converted the raw space into a soulful and evocative showroom that used the canyon-esque walls as a backdrop for sales.
